About the Roar at LHS

Loyalton High School has a long tradition with journalism–dating back to the mid-20th century. The paper became completely computer-generated in 2001 and began delivering a four-page issue to students every two weeks–one of the few high schools in northern California to do so.

This is the third year The Roar has gone online to this blog edition, about which the staff is very excited and is hopeful that readers will blog their comments. In all venues it’s the intent of The Roar staff that accuracy and objectivity underlie every single story. Let us know how we’re doing.

  1. I think u guys should have more pages. I want to read more!

  2. Ralph A. Kelley

I graduated in 1966 and would have enjoyed something like this……of course we did not have computers then….I really enjoyed The Grizzlies’ Roar
