About the Roar at LHS
Loyalton High School has a long tradition with journalism–dating back to the mid-20th century. The paper became completely computer-generated in 2001 and began delivering a four-page issue to students every two weeks–one of the few high schools in northern California to do so.
With an expanded staff last year of 16 students, the opportunity to expand blossomed into two new venues. Students are now producing the LHS news show–delivering news and announcements first thing in the morning. This is also the second year The Roar has gone online to this blog edition, about which the staff is very excited and is hopeful that readers will blog their comments. In all venues it’s the intent of The Roar staff that accuracy and objectivity underlie every single story. Let us know how we’re doing.
I think u guys should have more pages. I want to read more!
